Now that some of you have taken the French SAT II, could you please advise the best way to prepare for this exam (w/o listening). What book(s) would you suggest?
I'd really appreciate the advice as I've only had 1 year of French in class and am now taking an online class through the summer.

Merci!

I got a 2003 princeton review from mon prof, the practice tests were similar to the format of the real SAT except a lot easier.
If anything, you need to study:
VOCAB VOCAB VOCAB
When to use each verb conjugation, like je suis arriv

Hey, thanks very much for the advice.

Hello,
i am to take SAT French too, and cannot anyhow decide what book to choose for practice. there are a lot of Princeton review books, but do you think they are good enough? Are there Kaplan Sat French books? What do you think of Barron
s?
Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.I
m looking forward to hearing from you.

there’s this weird SAT french book that isn’t from one of those big publishers and it worked pretty well for me. PR didn’t have enough practice tests.

on PR i got 680 and on the real one i got 670.
just study the vocabulary and grammar rules!
