Anyone who replies and got accepted, can you please post your stats? I’m applying for 2012 Summer B so I want to know where I stand Thanks!

Accepted here! :)

What are your stats JKidrauhl?

GPA (unweighted): 3.8
GPA (weighted): 4.1

Community Service Hours: 80

ACT: 22
SAT: 1080/1600 (Yeah I know, I suck at testing lol)

Top %5 Percentile
Founded my own club (Co-Founder/President)
FBLA and NHS

Hoping to also get into the Honors College, but we’ll see ^^

Accepted, but I got the “Hey, we know you wanted Fall, but you’re going to Summer because we said so” thing.

Hopefully I get that too ! I’m such an idiot for applying for fall -_-

What are both of your stats? I’m applying this summer for 2012 summer b. I honestly feel like UCF is a place where I belong and I don’t know what other college I’d love even nearly as much as I love UCF… it will break my heart if I don’t get in. Lol. Is there any place that says the minimum requirements for Summer term? I’ve seen the Fall ones as of now, but no official Summer ones.

Where have you seen the fall minimums ? I though they don’t have “minimum requirements” just have mid ranges… which is probably why it takes so long to hear back! They have too many applicants not to have minimums imo, but it worked out well for me because I probably wouldn’t have met the requirement for math a couple of months ago but I raised my math score recently. & I agree about loving UCF. I can’t picture myself anywhere else. My biggest piece of advice is to apply EARLY. Like August early and even before if possible.

Stats :
ACT: 22, 23 superscored
SAT: Aghh. 930 M+R, 1540 R+W+M ( math kills me )
GPA: 3.5 UW, 5.3 W
A couple of extra circulars and leadership positions
150 community service hours…( I really have A LOT more but I never cared about getting them documented That’s just from one project but oh well.)

5.3! Jeez my school’s weighting system only goes up to 4.8 with APs. I meant to say midranges, not minimum… whoops! My school has a college search program that tells you the average accepted stats from my school. For UCF it is a 3.42 GPA and a 1621/2400 SAT but something tells me that’s a little off. My school is very prestigious though, and ranked in the top public high schools. I want to apply at the end of July- early August. How am I supposed to get my letters of recommendation and transcripts in over the summer? I have a 3.4 GPA right now (weighted) and won’t really go up much even if I do get all A’s. I messed up freshman year, otherwise I’d have a 3.8W&UW. I guess you could say I didn’t think about my future then at all. So with my low GPA, I’ll be applying for summer. I have accredited community service hours, danced for 15 years, captain of cheerleading squad, all star cheerleading team, after school job, and babysitting. I get my SAT scores back in about 12 days so I will update my post then and also plan to take the ACT in June.

Yeah with that weighted GPA i’d apply for summer but really all depends on your test scores. Can’t really tell what will happen until you get them. Your EC’s look great though! & yeah my school does it weird I guess. A lot of people have high GPA’s but i’m ranked number 8. I took dual enrollment and AP’s though and my school is “college prep” so it only offers honors courses so that helps too. Idk for the past couple of years I’ve been getting almost anything but A’s and I got A’s in all my college courses too. But I guess I’m clearly not as smart as my GPA suggests considering my test scores and all. Oh well.

Ahh I really hope that I get accepted even if it’s for the summer term, I’m worried because I applied really late
Although I’ve heard that it’s taking forever for people to hear back from UCF >:(

mellorine what are your stats?
and MaydayParade-- Good luck!! Hopefully I’ll see you there next year if I get accepted :)

@Mellorine, yeah it is. If we get in I hope we can still get housing !
@as21, Yepp! & You will. Let us know how you did on the SAT when you get the results back.

I have a 3.6 UW, 4.6 W, I’m in the top 14%
SAT: 520 CR, 590 M, 570 W
ACT: 21
I have a lot of extracurriculars like sports and like 200 community service hours but I only have 84 documented
I just applied last month, Feb. 16 to be exact, and they have all of my scores and transcripts, but the stupid site never updates so i don’t even know if they have had a chance to look at it >.<
What do you guys think my chancees are for getting in?

Well people say it’s really hard to get in if you applied after November and Feb. is reallyyy late so i’m not sure. Don’t frown about your ACT score either, your SAT makes up for that. That would normally at least get you into summer but since you applied late you lessened your chances.

Yeah I know, that’s why I’m worried, if I had applied sooner like in October I wouldn’t have been as worried, at least for summer, but I waited until I got my response from UF to apply to UCF because my mom had told me to wait -____-
I already got into FSU, FIU and Jacksonville university, but then again I applied really early so idk what to think anymore and UCF is currently my first choice

Ahh. Why don’t you wan’t to go to FSU?

It’s not that I don’t want to go to FSU, but I want to study either computer software engineering or computer science, and UCF has a much better program because it’s better funded and I know that it’s going to keep on getting better so yeah, it would benefit me more if I was able to go to UCF. Although if I don’t get in to UCF then I will most likely go to FSU.

Even if you had applied beforehand, there’s a chance you wouldn’t have a reply yet… as you can tell by all of the rest of us!

You’re going to UCF for the same possible majors as me mell, so that means, if we get in, we’ll probably see each other there. Yayy!
