how many credits did you get from AP Bio? i’ll assume three.
i think AEM requires 6 credits of Bio, so why not take a bio course and get it over with?
and if you have AP english, can you not place out of the FWS?</p>

btw do u know the difference between STSCI 2100 and PAM 2100? (except the fact that one meets 3 times/week and the other 4)</p>
<p>hilarious: i’m pretty sure if you have AP Bio credit, you’re clear for bio (all 6 credits). you won’t need the physics AP if you have the chem AP - according to CALS requirements, you only need 5 credits of either chem OR physics. your schedule looks fine.</p>
<p>irarchie: 18 credits is a bit much first semester when you’re still trying to get into the swing of things as a freshman - you might be able to handle it, but don’t be afraid to drop stats if it gets to be too much. most AEM freshmen take it 2nd semester anyway. (btw, according to my friends who took it, PAM 2100 is VERY easy - i placed out with AP credit, though, so i can’t confirm it.)</p>
<p>if you’re still looking for classes, though - try DSOC 1101 - it’s really easy and a lot of people take it to fulfill CALS requirements.</p>
<p>irarchie: i was informed that AP Stat this year counts for 4 credits, and AP Bio counts for 4 credits if you get a score of 4 and 8 credits if you get a score of 5. yeah, i’ll get 3 credits for AP English, but don’t we need 6 credits from FWS or the equivalent? I was thinking I’d take FWS first sem and get out of it 2nd semester… am i allowed to do that or do i have to take one second sem?</p>

<p>cc102: if i have both AP Chem and AP Physics scores, can i get credit for both of them? I know that there’s a 30 credit cap so i had to drop some AP tests back in May. i think im still like 1 credit over though… lol. so i have to see if they can let me use AP stat as 3 credits instead of 4…</p>

<p>You need two semesters of FWS.</p>
<p>One of them can be waived due to EITHER AP Lang or AP Lit
You cannot place out of both FWS semesters.
You get 3 credits for each AP test.
So theoretically you would have to take 1 FWS, and COULD get up to 6 credits of more English credit for AP Lit and/or AP Lang.</p>
