Two AP classes your Freshman year is incredibly impressive (is that the norm at your school? Is this an anomaly?) – most people don’t start taking multiple APs until their Junior Year - so your schedule is definitely rigorous.

But methinks you just posted this thread to brag, my child. :-w

Thanks! I actually wanted to know what people thought about the classes I chose, just to make sure I didn’t make any mistakes before turning in my registration. It’s not the norm, but I have been studying over the past summers with some friends, and we all are taking a few AP classes Freshman year.

Did you take pre-calc in middle school or something? Why are you taking AP Calc as a freshman? Most people take it Junior/Senior year - it’ll be fresh when you go to college that way.

I’m taking Algebra II at the moment, and going to take Pre-Calc this summer.

What are you going to take junior/senior year? You could do AP Stats one year. But after that there’s no other AP math class. Honors trig/geometry with a bunch of freshman senior year? lol

I could take Multi-Variable Calc at a local college, or a different math course. I am not very familiar with college math courses.

I forgot I was on CC for a second.

Lol go for it. You like math much more than I do.

Thanks! I am interested in a career path involving astronomy, so I’m structuring my high school course schedule to fit the most rigorous math and science courses into my schedule, with some writing electives also.
