Incoming freshman schedule

Newbie here. :) What do you guys think of this schedule right there?

Algebra 2 H
Biology H
AP World History
English 1 H
French 1 H
Programming With Java

Not really special compared to others haha but what do you think? :D

It looks fine.

Looks strong. What is offered freshman year? For example, my school doesn’t even offer APs freshman year, but offers honors in every course. Also, do you feel the courseload is manageable, or is it too much or super safe?

the courseload is manageable and I might be the only one taking Algebra 2 H in freshman year. This is the most rigorous the school could offer, but I’m worried that it might not look as appealing as other freshman here in CC who took Precalc and AP Bio their freshmen year. @sw0206‌

Colleges will look at your schedule based upon what your school offers, not what kids on College Confidential take. It looks fine to me.

Don’t worry about it. You will have opportunities to take more AP courses, and colleges will know (your GC can mention in rec, rank will indicate, admissions officers know) how your course-load compared to other kids at your school. I see most student on here with 4-14 APs by the time they complete high school. Few can hope to compete with the offerings of the top high schools in the nation, where 20 AP courses per student is not unusual. I’ve seen few kids with pre-calc freshman year, and some schools offer bio early, but dont offer ap world, or offer it later.

I should also point out that you will be a freshman in HS taking a college-level course; you need time to make the transition. Most freshmen take no AP courses and few take more than one. Don’t sweat it.

Solid. My freshman schedule was pretty similar to that with the main difference being that I’m taking AP World next year (I took AP gov my freshman year)

thanks guys! :D
