Hey guys...this is probably my first or second time posting on here, but I'm really curious about what people think or have heard about Freshman College at UGA? I only know that you start six weeks earlier in the summer and take a few courses. Does anyone know anything about it? Are there any advantages to taking it, pros/cons?

Read all about it here: [FCSE - Welcome!](http://freshmancollege.uga.edu/)

I don’t know anything about it, but I wish I did it! One of my sorority sisters did it and met a lot of people through it. It also lets you get to know the campus before the rush of people get there. UGA during the summer is dreamy because the only crowds you have to deal with are freshman orientation kids. You also get a head start on getting credit hours and it’ll give you a taste of college classes. Seriously, if you have nothing else planned for the summer, and you think you might get bored by the end, do it!

I have several friends that have done it and loved it. From what I heard, I would recommend everyone to consider it. It’s a great head start to meeting a lot of different people before the masses are there and you start to get really busy with classes. The freshman college group in russell was probably one of the tightest groups I knew freshman year because they all knew eachother.
