Freshman Curriculum

I'm an incoming freshman at WSU.

Can anyone please tell me what the freshman core curriculum consists of? What classes can expect to be required to take next year?

Also, am I correct in thinking that I will be able to get all of the required core classes (which do not pertain to my major) out of the way in my freshman and sophomore years?

Thanks

WSU has the concept of general education, just like many other universities. You can get more info here:
[General Education: Curriculum and Structure](http://gened.wsu.edu/overview/curriculum/)
“Of the 120 credit hours required for graduation from WSU, 40 must fulfill General Education requirements”

These general classes may also help you towards your major, depending what that is.
