Hi guys, I’m an incoming freshman hoping to do some sort of degree plan involving Economics and Biochemistry, and I was wondering if the following courseload would be manageable in my first semester:
Econ 200 (Microeconomics)
Chem 211/215 (OChem + Lab)
Econ 100 (Principles of Econ)
Econ 307 (Probability and Statistics)
LPAP
You probably won’t get into an LPAP your first semester (or perhaps not even until junior year).
There are a few spots reserved for freshmen, but pretty much every single LPAP fills up quickly.
If you really want to get into AN lpap, I suggest going for a less popular one (not yoga, soccer, frisbee, etc). Freshman is the second easiest year after senior year, and I got into fitness swimming first semester. It still isn’t easy though and you just have to get lucky and more importantly try to make it to the front of the waitlist.
