Anyone going to do it?
Pretty sure I will.
Anyone here already done it and willing to share their experience?

Hey, I’m actually a graduating senior this year (from Marist) but I was a part of the FFE program my freshman year. It was definitely the best thing that I’ve done here. The experience was really surreal and I learned a ton about Italian culture. I didn’t know the language or anything before I left. You pick the language up pretty easy when you’re surrounded by it. I usually work at the college’s open houses and I tell just about everyone to do it because it was such an amazing experience for me.

Sweet, I just locked it in and I’m going to do it. So far, all I’ve heard are great things so I’m really excited about freshman year. What was it like going back sophomore year, though? I imagine it’s a bit unsettling coming back and being unfamiliar with other students and the campus.

I’d imagine it’d be like Freshman year for you :)

Wow, I just checked the Marist College class of 2015 facebook page and the only people I’ve seen confirm they’re doing the FFE program are all women. The pictures on the website of past FFE students featured several women too with a smattering of men. How’s the ratio? Is it really almost all girls studying abroad through this program?

My son is just finishing up there and he like all of the Marist students loved every second. He is a business major and took interesting and challenging courses. There were about 10 boys and 30 girls in the FFE and about 1200 in Lorenzo di Medici college. He found time to travel all over Europe and it is a life changing experience, so grab it.

For housing, will I be able to earn enough priority points while I’m abroad to ensure I get good housing as a sophomore?

Yes you can earn priority points while in Florence
