<p>I just read that the summer geology camp for freshman is canceled this summer!?! Does anyone know why? I have read nothing but wonderful things about it for both geology and PetE students. This is a huge disappointment. It was one off the reasons we were leaning more towards LSU than other schools. </p>
I don’t know why, but it might be related to state budget cuts. I do hope it returns. It is a fabulous program (my younger son did it) and is a great way to introduce students to Geology the way it should be done - in the field.
