I recently heard that university of chicago doesn't look at your freshman high school grades. Is this true? because if so, then I have a 3.999 (B+ in drivers ed, go figure) but if not, then it is much lower. Does any one know for sure?

I'm not sure whether they consider freshman year grades, but don't worry about it. Even if Chicago does officially consider them, they'll likely look over yours in light of your most recent years. The admissions process is very holistic, so a lower freshman year GPA shouldn't hurt you.
