<p>Suites in areas other than north are typically reserved for upperclassmen who enter a lottery for them. I believe north halls is the only area where freshmen can live in suites.</p>
<p>If he is a Freshman and can avoid living in East Halls, definitely do so. South Halls are as close to downtown as it gets. Plus it will be a much shorter walk to all classes. Also, the sororities are house in South Halls!</p>
