Freshman housing usf

Which dorms are the best for freshman? I was looking at the Greek letter suites but I keep reading that they're really bad. I don't really want to pay the extra for an apartment, plus I want to live somewhere where I can meet a lot of people. A dorm with less partying is good, but I still want live somewhere that I can get to know a lot of other freshman. Are castor and beta alright? Like how many people share a community bathroom & how many stalls and everything are there? That's the one thing I'm nervous about; I do like the larger room size though.

Unfortunately, one of the very few things that aren’t the most attractive at USF are their freshmen dorms. Don’t go to Castor or Beta, we had to use those for Orientation and they’re affectionately know as the S***holes after we woke up one morning and it looked like some drunk/blind guy managed to hit everything except the toilet. As for the Greek letters, Delta only. I’m in Delta and it’s actually pretty nice after they renovated them last summer. Do NOT go to any of the others, especially Mu or Kappa. I thought the guys were joking when they told me they had one light in the bathroom so they had to do their business in the dark. Then I visited Kappa and realize they weren’t joking.

My recommendations:
Delta - cheap but nice, and you get a study area
Juniper/Poplar -pricier, it reminds me of Hong Kong, so nice! (Full of Asians too, just like HK, for some weird reason.) Hard to get in unless you’re Honors/Business/Baseball/Engineering
Cypress/Holly/Kosove apartments
