<p>So, I just got accepted to USF on Fall '12
Now, I have to chose what type of housing I will want to live in.
I feel like I should go with traditional but I don't like the idea of a bathroom for everyone.
Are suites better? Do they cost more?</p>

<p>My sister went there and she reccomends to not get apartment-style… they are super expensive and pretty crappy. she said they feel like hospital rooms. hahaha</p>

<p>she lived in an Andros suite… and she had a lot of fun there BUT those buildings are really old. but she said it was a bonding experience… haha :)</p>

<p>i’ve heard Juniper and Poplar are the best, those are the new freshman suites. I’m going to try for those, personally :)</p>

<p>If you’re in the Honors program, then you should definitely go to Juniper Hall. I heard the Poplar hall has lots of engineering kids, if you’re in that field.</p>

<p>Does anyone know how long I can wait to apply and still get my first choice of Juniper-Poplar? My plan is to know around January exactly where I’m going.</p>

<p>Which suite is “famous” for nerdy kids? Someone told me the name, but I forgot what it was… :P</p>

<p>So, I currently go to USF. The least expensive are those in Andros. They’re the oldest and not the best, but you grow to love it. Next are Argos dorms which are Beta and Castor. They’re nicer. A bit more expensive but everyone on the floor shares a bathroom. Next is Maple and Cypress, also nice, but a bit pricey especially Cypress. ROTC are on the first floors of Maple. Apartments are Holly and Magnolia. Super expensive and not worth it. Then all the way on the other side of campus are the overrated Juniper-Poplar. The newest buildings that everyone loves. Summer students stay there.</p>
