Biology I
World Civ
Algebra II-Honors
English-Honors
Break
Spanish I
P.E
Religion/Computer

also could people be honest and list classes they are actually taking and not some crazy college schedule everyone knows that they are not taking.

English I Honors
Algebra II Honors
Biology Honors
Human Geography AP
French II Honors
Humanities I (honors credit)
Orchestra

They also give a mandatory 30 minute study hall period to all 9th and 10th graders. I'm excited about that :D

[edit]
And I can't wait for Humanities either. Everyone says it's THE best class they've taken throughout high school. That's the only reason I picked it over APWH (Humanities I and II gives an honors world history credit and two honors english elective credits).

You guys have to take Biology? We take Earth science :( I think it's going to be so boring. We can just enter AP classes without taking the same class at a lower level. I'm happy about that. like we don't have to take Honors Biology before AP Biology or AP Calculus AB before AP Calculus BC.

English 9 Honors
Latin 2 Honors
Spanish 4 Honors(Maybe 5 if I ask my conselor and I'm for the commitment.)
Earth Science Honors
Modern Word History(Used to be World Civ, they changed it this year. Graduation Required Class, doesn't have honors)
Pre-Calculus Honors
Orchestra
Giovanni Solisti(A chamber orchestra that meets in the night on Tuesdays and Fridays; By audition only.)
Physical Education(Forgot to add this, it's required to graduate)

Actually I dont have to, our standard course is Earth Science and then I believe Biology is a sophomore course. You have to get a recommendation from your science teacher to take Bio.

I'm a violinist too, but our omit school doesn't have it and apparently values band more -_-

Our school is brand new, I think its going to suck.

TBH, I'm not sure about our school's courses.

I think I signed up for somethin like Computer Applications I and II I think, so I'm gonna have to talk to counselors and try to get the courses I like most.

Chaos, you're going to like Latin. So many noun declensions plus all these different forms of pronouns. Does your school use the Cambridge Course? Wait until Cicero, Catallus, etc.

I'm a violinist too, but our omit school doesn't have it and apparently values band more -_-

I'm a violinist also (bet you half the forum is too), and my school is the same way. I mean, the have orchestra as a class, but band gets more recognition, support, and money. Plus, the district gives PE credit (graduation requirement) if you take marching band. I know it's not possible to have "marching orchestra", but it's just not fair. I would gladly get up an extra hour early to receive PE credit.

You need PE...You should stay healthy. Play a sport. I'm glad to have PE, I can get in shape for tennis or soccer depending on which one I choose in the spring.

Yeah, but we don't even have it.
Whats up with that?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! :(

Have you ever tried for All State? Our tryouts are in March, and I'm not sure if you can do without a school or an organization backing you up :( Hows Haydn's G Minor Concerto for a solo piece?

Well I dont do much in PE anyway, just walk around lol. I get my exercise from typing on the keyboard :) Its a workout :p Seriously, I run in the nearby park for 1-2 miles, not bad.

I'm not close to an athlete, and I don't believe I'll ever have a chance :)

What schedule you guys school are on?
Mine is block schedule:
7:25 - First bell
7:30 - First period
9:05 - Second Period
10:35 - Third Period
12:15 - Lunch
12:45 - Fourth Period
2:15 - End.

Our PE is Pass or Fail. health is included in the Sophmore GPA. I guess Solisti negates orchestra in a way. And I have Latin 1 Credit, Modern World History Credit, American Goverment Half Credit, 4 years of Orchestra credit. I guess those are the only not honors or AP Classes I'm not taking throughout High School. I'll only lose like .1-.3 on my GPA. Doesn't really matter.

It's not possible to have a perfect 4.5 GPA if you do things you desire. Heck, it's not even possible if you try.

Do your schools have Honors Classes in the Summer?
