So I’m coming to OSU from North Carolina, and I really don’t understand what I’m supposed to do if we aren’t allowed to have cars on campus. I’d hate to leave it all the way back at home and not have my own means of transportations in emergency situations. I also do not want to leave it back there and have someone else driving it while I’m not around. Any suggestions?

you will leave your car at home or attend another college

You really don’t need a car on campus. I would leave it at home for a year or sell it.

Yeah, despite Ohio State’s large size, it’s relatively easy to get around campus, even just by walking. All students get free, unlimited COTA bus rides around campus by just showing their BuckID to the driver. You can also take COTA buses to go into town. You should be fine without a car. I would suggest just leaving it at home for a year & then bringing it up sophomore year.
