<p>Does anyone know if the photo being asked for with the frosh documentation is just for records or is it for some type of photo ID? If for records, I'll send senior pic, but if it's for a photo ID another pic would be better.</p>
<p>I’m pretty sure it is ID – in fact, they keep same ID (I believe) for all 4 years - I just took a head shot with my iphone and it worked.</p>

<p>The photo is also used to post on the ‘college’ bulletin board of your freshman dorm dining hall, and the ‘college’ directory. Avoid gimmicky shots.</p>
<p>That photo will be your Prox, Princeton FB, Res College board and Blackboard student list photo. Word of advice- this photo is not a typical passport photo where you’re supposed to look as serious as possible under white fluorescent light so smile, look good because that’s the photo first impressions are drawn on.</p>
