Freshman Schedule Feedback

I know that 13 units are recommended, but these classes aren't too bad and I included an elective. But if I were to get in to these classes, would it be too much and which courses should I drop? Any opinions welcome!

-Rhet 1b - 4 credits
-Math 16a (BC Calc background) - 3 credits
-Bio 1a (AP background) - 3 credits
-Anthro 3 - 4 credits
-Public Health 116 (elective P/NP) - 2 credits

Need to take Chem 1A before Bio 1A, but if you took AP chemistry and passed with a 4/5 should be fine. Also you should consider taking Bio 1AL if you’re talking Bio 1A because that is the lab portion of the class.

You may want to take a more advanced math course than Math 16A. See the http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-california-berkeley/1305840-freshman-math-faq.html</a> and review the old final exams for various math courses to check what you know.

Note also that neither MCB nor IB accept Math 16A or 16B for the math requirement for the major. Some of the CNR biology majors may, however. What is your intended major?

Biology 1A specifies a prerequisite of Chemistry 1A/1AL with 3A or 112A (organic chemistry) recommended. Biology 1B does not specify any prerequisites.

Chemistry 3A specifies a prerequisite of Chemistry 1A with a grade of C- or higher, or a score of 4 or higher on the AP chemistry test.
