freshman schedule

i'll be entering as a freshman in CAS this fall as a prospective econ major, but i'm also considering a transfer into AEM by fall 2011. the schedule i have right now looks something like this -

french 2060 - intermediate reading and writing
aem 2400 - marketing
astro 1101 - the nature of the universe
econ 1120 - introductory macroeconomics
FWS
PE - intro to swedish massage!

this schedule comes out to 17 credits including the 1 credit for PE. does this schedule seem like too much work, too little work, or just about right for my first semester?

You’ll be fine, but unless you are really good at
French then that french class might take up more
time than you expect

I can tell you that Astro 1101 is a very easy (and pretty enjoyable) way to get PBS credit! I had Prof. Lloyd and every exam was based on homework questions.

thanks! my course says it’s taught by herter/sloan? not sure why there are two names

I disagree with copyxmkii, I didn’t find FREN 2060 difficult and the coursework was completely manageable.

OP, your schedule looks good to me!
