Does anyone have any suggestions for fun and/or easy freshman seminars?

All freshman seminars are easy and it's pretty much impossible to fail them if you attend class. I took "He Said, She Said, They Said: Making Sense of the Opinion Makers and Making Up Your Own Mind" when I was a freshman in Fall 05. Decent class that discussed current events.

I agree with 2+2=5. As long as you show up for class (which is once a week for 2 hours) and do the assignments (which are typically easy), you'll pass. A freshman seminar is graded on a Credit/No Credit basis.

I personally took "Writing to be Read" with Professor Richard Fliegel. This FSEM isn't just for writers, but anybody who is even remotely interested in something like creative writing. Professor Fliegel is highly regarded among students, and I think this is a fun way to fill up the remaining 2 units.

However, I encourage you to look at all the options. Find something that interests you the most and fits your schedule.

Thanks! Writing to Be Read has actually been one of the FSEMs that I'm considering taking. I think I'll sign up for it (if there's any space left). Thank you both 2+2=5 and powerabe13
