Freshman Spring 2014 Transfer HELP

Hi, Currently I am a freshman at Fordham University in the Bronx. And to be short, I want to transfer. I came to Fordham for Pre-Med but decided during the summer that I didn't want that anymore so I went to the dean and I said I would like business. I'm taking Finite math for business and Macroeconomics and am really enjoying them, along with the core Fordham classes.

But, right now I am commuting an hour everyday to the Bronx for my classes. I'm not getting the whole college experience and I hate it. Also, my parents aren't paying a dime for my education. Fordham gave me money, but I still took out a 25k loan for the year! And their tuition is set to increase 4-5k each year!

So now, here I am, hating college and everything and want to transfer out. I am looking for the SUNY schools. I was accepted to Stony Brook and Albany senior year too.

So, which SUNY is best for business? I'm looking to apply for this coming Spring to get out of Fordham ASAP to avoid spending too much money at a place i'm regretting. Also, I don't know how many of my credits will transfer. Fordham has me taking their core courses (15 this semester) so i hope they transfer over. I also have 4 AP tests I took as well. I did very well in high school so if they want a high school transcript as well that's no problem.

In conclusion, what should I do? Anyone have any advice or tips? I'm really conflicted and confused. HELP!

Baruch college in the city is very good for bussiness and u can dorm there which will be very good college experience

Fordham is ridiculously expensive I am transferring from Monroe on Fordham to Binghamton university for pre med I was lookin into Fordham until I seen the tuition. What threw u off of pre med?

I just really didn’t want to continue with so many more years of schooling and residency and everything else. The hours are crazy, I will be in unimaginable debt and I just did not want that. Fordham’s proud that it has a 90%+ acceptance rate into Med School, but at the cost of 45k tuition a year.
If your going to a SUNY for Pre-Med, I would suggest Stony Brook. It’s really great with the sciences, especially Medicine and they have their own medical center on campus were students go.

Yea that’s what threw me off of doing it straight out of high school so I waited a couple years. N I heard stony brook binghamon n some other school with a G is good with pre med but decided on Bing. So I will c how that goes. Good luck with business
