My son was accepted for UP Fall but decided to attend a different university. He feels like he made a mistake and wants to reapply. (His brother is currently a senior). Has anyone had any experience with this? He needs to complete an education gap essay, so any helpful tips would be appreciated.
Hi! I actually was/am in a very similar situation to your son. I decided to attend another university after getting into Penn State but my sister is a senior at PSU and I feel I made the wrong choice. I applied last week through the common app, only changing the education gap essay. I basically just explained what a unique and amazing school Penn State was (I only wrote like a paragraph) and was accepted two days later. Best of luck!!
