What do I have to do to register for the Freshman Summer Orientation and is there a link? Is this mandatory? I'm kind of nervous about this since I was oblivious about this. Thank you.

Here is the link to the Orientation website:
[University of Texas at Austin - Office of the Dean of Students - New Student Services - Summer Orientation](http://deanofstudents.utexas.edu/nss/sumorient_fresh.php)

Here is the link for the family orientation if your parent(s) choose to attend:

There should also be a link on your BeaLonghorn page under your Admission status that lists things “To Do.” One of those items should be a link to Fall orientation. You can either access it there, or use the the link above.

Don’t wait too long to sign up 'cause the sessions fill up.
It’s just a hurdle to go through.
Prepare to recycle lots of flyers.
And have a good time while you’re here!

I already did the form/application and have a month to pay the fee. Thank you!

What flyers, or is that a figure of speech? Does being a TIP Scholar give me an advantage in these sessions, regardless of whichever one I choose?

Also, if you can swing it, sign up for Camp Texas…its a great expereince and an amazing way to meet new people before school starts.
