Who's who national scholarship

Please give me some advice on anything I can do, and maybe some comments/suggestions about my E.C's. It would be great for an evaluation of if I'm on the right track

The B+ in AP environmental science kills your chances.

Does it really? I mean, I still have like. 5.19 GPA.

You’re in 9th grade, but you’ve already played 10th grade tennis? I don’t follow.

Anyways, you seem to be on the right track. Keep getting those grades and national awards.

EDIT: a B+ in 9th grade shouldn’t kill you. A lot of school don’t even look at 9th grade. Also, 8th grade doesn’t mean anything really.

That is confirmed by the coach. Anyways, from 1-10 how much do you think I “pop” on paper?

I’ll stick to my previous response. You’re definitely on the right track. If I were you, I would try to be recruited by the tennis coach. Start sending out e-mails, phone calls, videos, etc.

Since you have not taken a single class in 10th yet but know your grades already, you display psychic abilities. I am sure you can push it a bit further to check on a college admission?

It is unlikely anyone here can predict your future before you finish 11th. Getting someone to tell you that you are expected to be in at a school admitting less than 8% of applicants does not make it a valid statement.

Hahaha I’m just screwing with you man, you’re perfect on paper.

Now that you’ve got the stats, focus on something you love; your passion.

I don’t think I’m at the level of Princeton Men’s tennis yet. I took a break for half a year, and know I’m getting back in gear. I have hit with/know a girl that got in to Princeton through tennis indirectly and is going there next year.

@acrylicsalmon: so that would be business/politics/writing

Do you’d suggest doing something more besides MUN, MC, And runnin my online newsmagazine? I think the only club I could join is FBLA, b/c I want to gauge my interest in business.

Any suggestions?

(my newspaper/the brief) We are in the process of becoming a 501c3, so when we run ads, well donate the proceeds to charity (such as the school I’m going to be teaching kids English at in the Karpatian Mnts in Poland this summer).

@texaspg I’m more of looking for any suggestions/corrections to my academic/ec “portfolio”, and some info on princeton

From last year’s admit stats, your admit rate seems to be significantly higher if you score over 2300 in SAT (21%).

Are you polish, Manila?

Yea, my dads first generation polish

Bump10char

Stats-wise, you’re impressive.

If you want to be like perfectly sealed in terms of numbers, get a 35+ ACT or 2300+ SAT. Get two or three SAT IIs at least 750+

You can self study more APs if that appeals to you.

Spend your summers exploring what interests you. If it happens o be something oh do at school, great - but it doesn’t have to be.

Princeton doesn’t consider freshman grades.

Your ECs are good, just find ways to really be a leader and stand out. Transcend the limitations of your school.

I almost never respond to chance threads anymore but something about you interests me. I know a lot about Princeton admissions because it’s been my first choice since I was a kid, and I’ve done a lot of research on the university and know plenty of people who go there. If you want more information or advice, send me a PM and I’d be glad to help - assuming Princeton is also your first choice (no offense, but I don’t really feel like helping you if you’re gonna end up applying to Harvard RD and going there instead for the name :P)

I messaged you
