Hey guys. I’m interested in applying to Carroll as a transfer student. I’m currently a freshman at the University of Michigan that’s preparing to apply to the Ross School of Business. I’d like to give myself the option of transferring to another top university and business program if I don’t get in. On BC’s transfer admission information website, it says that the university can only enroll a “handful of business transfer students (5-10).” Does anyone have insight on this process? It doesn’t seem feasible.
the issue with transferring into CSOM is that BC has a high Frosh retention rate, so few transfer slots exist. A couple of years ago, the Frosh class was over-enrolled, so CSOM didn’t take any transfers that year.
I just got in as a spring transfer to CSOM. There were over 250 students applied, and they accept 25 students. I also applied for 2015 fall transfer but got rejected. They had over 1400 applicants applied for fall, and accepted 120 students. All these information I got from my decision letters.
Good luck!
By the way, I don’t know the acceptance rate for CSOM specifically.
