Freshman's Courseload 16 credits

Is this too hard of a schedule for a freshman who took 6 AP classes senior year? (16 credits)

MAC 2312 Analytic Geometry and Calculus 2 (4)
STA 3024 Introduction to Statistics 2 (3)
HUM 2305 What is the Good Life (GE-H) (3)
COP 3502 Programming Fundamentals 1 (3)
EEX 2000 Impact of Disabilities (3) (S,D)

Bump…

16 credits isn’t out of the norm. You only have one lab, in COP 3502; labs can be time consuming, so limiting it to 1 is fine. If this is for your first semester, make sure you’re up to speed on Calc and Statistics (assuming you’re using AP credits to bypass Calc1 and Stats 1).You “may” also want to do some “light” reading/studying on Java over the summer, but it’s not a must do.

Looks fine to me, EEX2000 is really easy too so you won’t need to allocate much time for that at all, and Calc II tests are very fair and it’s quite possible to get a good grade in the class if you put in the effort. Good luck
