Freshmen and Footbal Tix Availability??

I have heard that, for the first time, freshmen last year at the University of Georgia received tickets to only three home football games due to the large number of students. Does anyone know if this is true? Thanks!

My son is a freshman and he received tickets to four games.

Depending on the number of incoming students, there will either be split packages of 3-4 home games or a full season for as many students as possible. My freshman year I got lucky and got full season tickets, but this year there were a ton of requests and most got 3 or 4.

Yeah you get either 3 "good" games such as Auburn etc. or you get 4 "normal" games like vs. UL Monroe

I'm a freshman now and what people have said is for the most part correct. You get an either 3 or 4 split ticket package. This year I got Oklahoma State, Auburn, and I think Ole Miss. BUT theres a lot of people that buy tickets that can't (or don't plan) to go to the games. I was able to buy the remaining 4 tickets off of a facebook group (there are a lot of them) for selling tickets and Florida (away game)! The tickets tend to be more expensive (in the case of florida a lot more) but normally so many tickets get on the market that the laws of economics set in and you can get them for reasonable prices. (Even though price markup on student tickets is against university policy)
