Freshmen orientation

Are you required to go?

Which event would you recommend going to?

You are required to go, and it really is fun so there’s not much reason to not want to go…imo at least. Now as to which events you should go to, the basic answer is nothing optional…you should really just hang out with people you meet at orientation and go out together at night, there’s gonna be a lot going on at each orientation. And trust me, there are so many that it’s pretty easy to get the one you want.

im pretty sure its required to go to orientation and i dont know why anyone wouldnt want to go. i had alotttt of fun at my orientation and made tons of new friends. They give you like a schedule thing and it has a list of things that are optional and required for you to go to. A few of the optional things were useful to go to like the bus system if you dont have a car or joining certain organization but alot were pointless too. You’ll meet with your advisor and pick out the classes you want for next fall. MAKE SURE to have a list of back up classes because chances are by the time you sit down to register most of your classes will have closed up and then your stuck there trying to figure out a whole new schedule…it pretty much happened to everyone. At night we all went out to parties and stuff and thats alot of fun…you’d be surprised how many friends you make in lobby at 3 am when everyones hammared trying to get food out of the vending machines hahah…but if your not into the party scene theres plenty of other stuff to do too.

only down side to orientation was waiting outside on registration day in the heat for like 2 hours in a looong line. if your smart youll register on your laptob from your room or something
