<p>freshmen arent allowed to apply for a parking permit (except in special cases). So, you cant bring a car to park in any of the lots. You can park on a few streets, but every Thursday Troy does street sweeping so you need to move it to a lot or itll be towed. So you can bring a car if you want, but it honestly isnt worth it in freshman year, especially if you know upperclassmen</p>
<p>Man, some students give ****ty advice. It's super easy for freshman to bring cars. Once a week they do street cleaning, so all you have to do is move your car once a week, which is a small price to pay for having a car on campus. I know people that were upper classmen that did this because it was cheaper than paying for a parking permit.</p>
<p>thanks for the compliment rpisoxfan. When you're the only one with a car and everyone you know asks to bum rides off you daily, you go broke quickly paying $3.25/gallon for gas, bringing a car to college is the last thing you wish you did</p>
