<p>I think his/her academics and extracurricular activities give him/her a good chance; probably just needs to write good essays. :)</p>

<p>The stats are good, but I'm not sure if the ECs are good enough. I think a lot will depend on the strength of your friend's essays and whether he/she is able to demonstrate commitment, passion, contribution, and learning.</p>
