This year I’m taking AP Seminar and APUSH, and next year I’m interested in taking AP Lang, Comp Gov, US Gov, Research, and APES. Thoughts??
How are these classes in the workload aspect?

Well Lang is all essays in my experience. Government is memorizing and notes. APES is all notes and memorizing. It depends how you are with note taking and wanting to put in the time to do it all. I personally took AP Chem, Physics, Lit, Calc, and Government. I had the long nights, but it wasn’t too bad.
I went from 3 to 6 APs and I actually had an easier time when I took 6. I was used to the workload and what AP teachers expected by then. You hopefully know how you study and where is the best place to not get distracted. Sometimes I still procrastinated and didn’t go to bed till very late at night (usually when I had projects) but you could definitely finish homework by 10-12 at the latest even if you have many time consuming ECs. When you get home, immediately start on hw. (Put your phone in a different room!!)
I agree that Lang was mostly essays, but there are novels to read too. Apes is very easy, and you mostly just study vocab words. Can’t tell you abt the rest, but APUSH was a lot of reading, so if you handled that well, you should be ok.
