Learn plenty of vocab and prefixes. Also read more books, after all it is one of the most helpful things for the critical reading section.

More responses pls

You’re not giving us enough information to help you. Are you a Senior? How much time do you have? Did you prepare at all for your first SAT? The question you’re asking can be found in the stickied guides in this forum so look at those before asking questions. Look at Xiggi’s, Silverturtle’s, cheerioswithmilk, academichacker, and Trinity.

I’m going to be a senior next year and this was my second time. I got a 1800 in the exam with a good math and writing section. My problem is the reading. Pls give me ur opinions. Do I enter the SAT for the third time or not? If yes. Give me opinions on how to increase my reading to 550’s

Do not take the SAT more than three times because this can seem a bit obsessive and it sort of shows your lack of intelligence. 1800 is a great score by the way but it’s not the best to qualified in the Ivy league. The reading sections on the SAT is quite similar to the type of questions on the AP Language & Composition exam so go over SOAPstone everytime you read a passage. This way, you can understand the author’s tone, argument, etc… Practice is key so keep on practicing!
