Ok, I tried to be brief but I couldn't. Thanks in advance if you're going to read this.

I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Since 13 years old or so I alienated myself from the world, in a matter of speaking. I spent my time mainly thinking, reading and participating in forums. I hated schools but did ok. In my first year, when I was 13-14, my average mark was about 7.5 (B) and I did not study a single moment in the whole year. I really thought I was some kind of superior being or something, since those who studied sometimes did much worse than me.

Anyhow, I'm over that. I'm not ashamed, I was really young at that time. I'm now 17 and just realized that I probably screwed my future with that attitude, so it's not as cool as it seemed before. However, after so many years of alienated thinking and writing now I have a sort of personal philosophy that it's really developed, and everytime I read any kind of philosophy I already thought that on my own in some point of those years. But all of this is useless if I want to get to a good college.

Thing is, in my school they teach you junk, and it's not cheap (about 2000 pesos, that's 500 dollars per month). But it doesn't matter.

I don't want to sound arrogant, but I know that if I can do more than well in any kind of test. For instance, next year I will get pure 10's (A's) but that's not going to change anything. I will also take many college classes at UBA (University of Buenos Aires), and I guess I will go there if I can't get to an Ivy League's school. Specifically, I will do UBA's first year (it's introductory), the same one done by anyone who goes there along a whole year, and I will do it studying at distance, just going to give the exams. Shouldn't it count for something?

Is there any possibility that I can get to an Ivy League school? I mean, I know you have to take tests apart from the ones at school, where can I read about that? (I mean the SAT and so on). I can probably have high marks there.

And, maybe I can also write a book and win a Spanish contest. Would that help? My ideas are there, I have tons of papers written all over my room and I could transform them into one book and then win. I already won a literary contest before and also got a review in the movie "Fight Club" published in a cinema site. I wrote that in a couple of hours the night before I had to hand in the essay.

I know this must seem extremely arrogant and even stupid (if I'm so smart why didn't I study for school), but for example: I learned English by my own. I know it's not perfect but hell, I didn't even take online classes, just watched movies and played games and suddenly I could do it. Some other people studied English for their whole life and they are under me at English classes in my school (it's divided in A, B, C and D courses. I'm in A). I already did Cambridge First Certificate and CAE without studying a single moment.

But I don't need to prove anything, I can't send an application to Harvard saying I think school is junk and that institutions have nothing to teach me as I've been thinking for some years (and only now realize maybe some institutions are good).

That's why I need your help. What can I do to get to an Ivy League's school? You should know I have a plan B (University of Buenos Aires), and that university is not bad. One of the best in Latin America actually (even though I know that's not much :P).

But I would LOVE to get to a good school, I know I have the potential. Next year is my last one at high school. And I would like to study Computer Science, specifically something regarding Computational Neuroscience.

Oh, one more thing, I saw that everybody published their ethnicy. That's not common here but if it's that important I'm White: half-Ashkenazi Jewish, 1/4th Lombard (Northern Italian) and 1/4th Asturian (Northern Spaniard). I have the Spanish citizenship I inherited from my grandfather so I'm a EU citizen, I don't think I have trouble moving into America.
