From Harvard to Harvard Law -- what do I need?

Assume that I have a 3.8 GPA (it might improve, but I'm not incredibly hopeful): how obscene of an LSAT score is necessary? What would help in the way of "intangibles"? Would it be easier or more difficult for me as Harvard undergrad?

And, no, I don't (and won't) take the easiest classes or the easiest concentration -- law school is not a definite for me, and I do hope to actually gain an education at some point. My GPA will probably remain imperfect for that reason. Anything else to do?

Unless you have URM status, from looking at the numbers graphs, the "magic number" for HLS is a 174 and your GPA appears fine. While I do think that you will gain an advantage from being an alumna of Harvard College, I would consider it a positive "soft" factor that will get you over the threshold rather than being a decisive advantage that places you at the head of the pack.

I cannot stress the importance of the LSAT enough. From looking at graphs there is a significant difference between 170-172 and 174.
