I'm currently earning my Associates degree in Paralegal Studies but will love to go into the field of Accounting as my main profession. My Paralegal course offers none of the prerequisite courses needed to be admitted into an Accounting major. If I we're to apply to a college as a transfer student can I be admitted to the college, take the prerequisite courses and then be admitted into the program? Will the credits earned as a Paralegal be accepted in the form of electives, though shortening my time needed for graduating with an Accounting major?. Please shed some light in this situation and or offer your opinion. Thank you for your time.

Self bump for glorious response

You need to take this question to the specific colleges/universities that you would like to transfer to. They are the only ones who can tell you whether this is possible in your case.

If you are currently studying at a community college, you could pop by the transfer office and ask the counselors their what they think about your specific situation.
