What to major in?

So I am trying to declare a major...

I have taken a lot of paralegal classes, as I was going to declare that as a minor. I haven't declared it as a major as I was thinking that many get hired with an associate's degree, so I think possibly I could hired as a paralegal with it as a minor? Also, it isn't something I want to do for the rest of my life, though I would like to be a paralegal when I graduate. However, while the school says that their major program is ABA approved, I am not sure if that means the program for the minor is, as well. The minor is 30 credit hours

My ultimate goal is to go to law school, though I need a "fallback" in case that doesn't happen (for example, an art history major isn't going to cut it if I don't go on to school after my BA.)

I was thinking of doing accounting as a major, with paralegal as a minor, but I am wondering if it would be too difficult to study for both the CPA and LSAT and paralegal licensing exams at the same time.

Any advice? Any reccomendations of recession-proof majors (that aren't nursing or engineering)? What about a communications degree - are there any jobs that you can get that aren't sales?

You have to get a four year degree before you apply to law school. Or in the process of getting one. Law schools like to see liberal arts majors in admissions, not vocational majors like accounting, although of course, it isn’t impossible to be admitted as an accounting major.

Sorry if my original post was unclear (though if you understand my first one, that’s awesome) - basically, if I minored in paralegal, would I still be able to get a job? And what major should I couple with that? Or, should I simply do a paralegal major?

If you want to be a paralegal, you should major in it.
