<p>So the number of applications in Exeter slightly decreased from last year’s 2491. Has any school communicated that their application numbers increased this year?</p>

<p>Well, Lawrenceville (I think) said that they got a record amount of applications this year…</p>

<p>Around 1 in 5/20% is pretty low, but normal for Exeter standards.
The bad thing is that it’s continually dropping, even to the realm of college admittance rates.
I see a funnel forming here.</p>

<p>Well, Andover’s admit rate is already lower than Cornell’s.</p>

<p>And Exeter’s admit rate is lower than 90 percent of colleges.</p>

<p>ooh those acceptance packages from andover are so fancy. i got an acceptance letter from another school in my county, and it literally contained a checklist with “yes, i am attending” and “no, i’m not”. classy.</p>

because we’ve all spent so long imagining our lives if we are in PS (it’s PS because I don’t like the other acronym) or not. and now we have tangible results. it’s surreal, actually.</p>
