There's a field 'Cumulative GPA' in Common Application Form. For now, I cant put my current year's GPA because the year has just begun, but I can put my previous year's GPA. If I do this will my colleges know about that (they may think this GPA is from the current year)? Thanks!

Your cumulative GPA is your most current overall GPA. So that should be Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior year. You don’t have to put down your senior year GPA because you don’t have one yet. Basically, it’s the most up-to-date GPA you have. So if your school worked in quarters and your first quarter GPA was out, you could include that. But for you, last year’s cumulative GPA works. Make sure it’s your cumulative GPA and not just your junior year GPA.

Whatever that is on your current transcript.

Cumulative GPA is intended to include all your classes taken for high school credit. In this US, for advanced students this can include courses taken in middle school (the years before high school). If you are international, you need to find out which of your years of school and which courses are equivalent to US high school years and try to calculate a cumulative GPA from those. Alternatively, you may leave this part blank. In any event, you will need to send transcripts for all the courses included in your cumulative GPA.
