frustrated with UW

<p>I'm a bit frustrated, because I haven't gotten the letter saying they received my application.. how many of you are in that boat?</p>

<p>and does anyone know how they screen the applicants? my dad said they probably make decisions based on their stats instead of basing decisions in the order the apps were received. even though they're doing holistic, does anyone have any idea how they screen their applications? I guess I'm just wondering if I'm seriously going to have to wait until April to get a decision.</p>

<p>hey me2!!! I STILL havent received it..and I applied in late November..I called and they diverted me to the voice mail of an admission officer who's in holidays till Feb 13...</p>

<p>i applied in january very close to the deadline but received the letter like 2 or 3 weeks later.</p>

<p>but the thing is i'm stuck on waiting for initial review for so long alredy : (</p>

<p>^ hm thats very interesting, because I got a letter within a week after... you should receive a letter no matter what because you applied (sent in an app)...
what?.. how can the officer be on vacation at this time of the year!?</p>

<p>I'm thinking maybe that's becoz I'm an international. My friend hasnt received it either! weird...</p>
