FSU 2010 Spring transfer admission decision, HELP!

So I applied to FSU (Florida State University) for 2010 Spring as a upper-level division transfer student. I had all my materials in before Nov. 1st and and currently waiting a decision. I was just wondering how long it takes for them to decide. I would think they would send out responses soon since their classes start on Jan 6th.

I'm so anxious and obsessing over this but I just can't help it. If I'm not accepted, I might just hyperventilate and die. Okay that's a bit of an exaggeration, but point is that FSU is the school I've had in my sights since I committed to staying in Florida for college.

Also...if you could chance me for it.

At a Community College (pretend college is what I call it):
3.17 GPA- but I still have ungraded classes...nevermind FSU won't be looking at fall semster.
I'll graduate with AA by 12/18/09

High School:
3.4 GPA
6 AP classes
2 clubs-Spanish Club and African-American Association
ROTC-3 leadership positions incl. Color Guard Commander, Administration Director, founder and director of Financial Aid.

My college now, Northwest Florida State College, (it just converted from Community to a state college. But I'm pretty sure FSU will look at it as still a community college since the transition was so recent, Summer-ish 09), has this 'promise' stating that if you graduate with your AA then you're guaranteed admission to any other FL College/University 4-yr. I know FSU just does high priority and not guaranteed admission for this 'promise' but I know it will factor in to their decision.

I'll chance you if you want, and if it makes you feel better, you can even laugh at my pathetic school credentials. :)

So…help/advice please? Any good psychiatrist out there? Ha

anyone wanna give me a hand please?

I’m in the same boat. I called them up on it today, and they say it’s a rolling admission, unlike freshman admissions when everyone is admitted on one specific date. The guy assured me they’d contact me in advance but I actually need to relocate to Florida, so time is short here too. If you hear anything abut your decision, please post it here.

Filxfer: I received a decision on Friday Dec 4th. I’M ACCEPTED! Woo! They said you need to relocate? That must be a good sign then. Any day now, you should find out as well. Good luck!

I found out today, I’m in too! Woohoo! Maybe I’ll see you there!!!

Woo! Congrats! Maybe, here’s my facebook: [Cory Smith - Panama City, FL | Facebook](http://www.facebook.com/people/Cory-Smith/739075320)
