Vires, Artes, and Mores signify extremely important and meaningful concepts. Vires signifies strength of all kinds- moral, physical, and intellectual. This concept reflects most on my life. We meet obstacles in every aspect of our lives. It is up to us to decide whether we are going to try to cheat our way around it or beat it. The strength we seek to beat our obstacles can be ours with fortitude and resolute courage. My life reflects moral strength throughout all of the pressures I face each day, physical strength through my daily schedule and intellectual strength through my past education.
Moral strength is reflected in my life greatly. There have been numerous occasions when I have had the chance to veer away from the right thing to do, towards the wrong but “fun” thing. I take pride in being able to honestly say that I have always had enough moral strength to say no to the unhealthy decisions and do what is going to be best for me in the future. The more honest we can be with ourselves about whom we are and what we need to be fulfilled, the more likely we are to create a life that’s right for us. What we get out of life in usually in direct proportion to the positive choices we make and the actions we take.
Physical strength is an important aspect that is reflected in my life. It is most pronounced in my life when it comes to being able to keep a tight schedule and making the most out of it. As a high school student I enjoy having the ability to attend community college full time successfully, work a part time job, be an active leader in activities at my high school, and still be able to spend time with my friends and family. Our efforts define our life, and our disciplined commitment to live it enable us to lead and enjoy the very life we intend for ourselves, allowing us to advance to new levels of growth, assisting us to pursue and enabling us to achieve our dreams.
Intellectual strength is an essential reflection on my life. Learning is a lifelong experience. Without intellectual strength, it would be extremely difficult to succeed in life and education. It is tremendously important to be able to retain and use information as the years go on, especially in college. I plan to obtain my doctorate and without my intellectual strength, it would not be possible.
Most of us have an image in our mind of the person we’d really like to become. We must realize that we are unique and special and that we have a higher purpose in life. Life is ours to do with what we will. Reflecting Vires, Artes, and Mores through our lives is the best accomplishment we could make. I take pride in living my life through moral, physical and intellectual strengths. If we incorporate these concepts into our lives, we will have the strength to withstand any obstacle that comes our way.

It’s fine. Anyway, FSU bases its decisions mainly on one’s stats and state of residence.

I’ve heard the essays are a tie breaker. Regardless, do your best.
