My Daughter was admitted! Yay! How do you find out about scholarship information?
@gold523 at the bottom of the acceptance there is a link for Scholarship
Congrats all! BTW summer is a GREAT way to start your college career.
Daughter was admitted
Ds in. Anyone get the OOS tuition waiver?
She did get the $9,600 scholarship.
(Has 33 on ACT.)
My daughter got the OOS tuition waiver. She has a 33 ACT and 4.0. On the other hand, it looks like you cannot apply for presidential scholarships unless you received a scholarship. That part is disappointing. Does anyone know if they also sent out financial aid today?
@fakeblond - where was the OOS waiver? Was it a separate letter or w/financial aid info?
I got Seminole Pathways with a ~3.75 FSU GPA and 34 ACT. Congrats to those admitted!
@fakeblond There was a link attached to the acceptance email.
What is the difference of pathways summer etc?
Pathways is the community college route. I believe they required a year or 2 before they can officially transfer to FSU. Summer is just a session at FSU where they begin taking 6-9 credits before the fall session.
Accepted, waitlisted, or rejected: Avvepted
Admitted Term: Fall 2019
SAT/ACT Score: 1260
Weighted GPA: 4.757
Unweighted GPA:3.8
Class rank: Top 14%
Accepting/rejecting the offer: I don’t know yet
Pathways is Spring admission and they have to do Fall either at a community college or FSU’s other campuses/programs (study abroad, Panama City). It is not a 2 year degree requirement. They start FSU in the Spring.
TCC2FSU is the AA/2 year program, though some can transfer earlier.

Does anyone know if anymore scholarships are going to be sent out or if were they just sent attached to the admissions letter? I noticed last year that people were posting oos waivers into March so I wanted to see if anyone knew!
How does someone with a 34 ACT end up as Pathways? Serious question.
I believe because he/she is OOS, I think this year OOS acceptance rate is below 30%. It was 31% for OOS from US news data for Fall 2017. We don’t know about EC activities, maybe not enough in comparison to other OOS applicants.
