<p>I know rankings don't really mean much, but what is FSU's reputation like in Florida?</p>

<p>I plan on majoring in business or communications...so is is a FSU degree respectable? Do they have strong recruiting and career services...internship opportunities?</p>

<p>FSU is much more competitive than Univ. of Arizona, but how would you compare their academics and reputation?</p>

<p>Yes they do - look at FSU's placement figures - they are very good.</p>

<p>The drop has to do with state university funding. Note that UF also fell by two, too. University funding in Florida needs to improve for state universities to improve the ratios necessary to rise in the US News rankings.</p>

<p>Thanks to the enrollment freeze and the differential tuition bill, FSU and UF will both see a significant rise on next year's rankings.</p>
