FSU FILM bfa

Has anyone got an interview date for 2013 FSU film school yet??

I’m waiting on the 2013 interviews too… in past years the school has released decisions on who to interview before now. I’ve heard it will be this week.

It’s good to hear other people are still waiting, for a while I was afraid I just didn’t get one and wasn’t going to get any kind of notification about it. It does seem sort of late, though, considering they said they’d schedule interviews for late February.

They may be trying to figure out what to do with applicants for digital/animation program since it looks like that may have to move back to Tally. That could be delaying things.

The interview emails went out yesterday. Our friend got in so we are elated for her! It was not in a big official email that said congratulations or anything like that so don’t miss it! It came directly from the email address of the new admissions person at the film school; I think Burgess is the name. Good luck to everyone!

Yes, just confirmed: the email granting the candidate an interview will /should come from Emily Burgess, assistant to the Dean. Again, be on the look out and read it carefully because it does not look like the big “Congratulations” emails they have sent in the past.

Actually last year my son got phone call/voicemail for the interview. The final acceptance came via the big congrats email. If anyone has any questions, let me know.

@StantonMom do you know if they let the applicants know if they’re not being accepted?

I’m really not sure if they notify you if you are not getting an interview. I would call the film school, and I’m sure they will tell you one way or the other.

I called admissions today to check on my progress because I did not receive an email for interview. They told me that all of the emails have not gone out. Their was a small problem with my application which other students had as well. Admissions said all emails should be put out in next few days.
