I applied at the beginning of January. It has been two weeks since my Online Status has changed to “Your application has been reviewed by the Office of Admissions and has been referred to the appropriate academic representative for review”.

I was curious of what my chances are for acceptance and if I would be eligible for any OOS scholarships or waivers.

Also, have any transfer students majoring in Biology been accepted yet? I feel like my acceptance is taking longer because of the size of the department.

My son is OOS NY he did not receive the waiver with his admission BUT they put it in writing for us that is he hits a 29 on the ACT they will give him the partial OOS waiver or a 30 for the full OOS tuition waiver on the April ACT’s…he currently has a 27…He went this weekend for accepted students day and committed! What are your ACT/SAT’s your GPA is fine the minimum for the OOS waivers is a 3.5 so you are there! Good Luck!

and FYI even though he committed they will still give him the money if he gets to a 29 or 30 on the April ACT’s. FSU is very good to the OOS students they except!
