FSU students dominate Gubernatorial Fellows

<p>Tallahassee, Fla. - Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the members of the eighth class of the Gubernatorial Fellows Program. Students participating in the program will gain first-hand experience in state government.</p>

<p>"I applaud these students for their outstanding academic, leadership and service-oriented accomplishments," said Governor Scott. "This program will provide them with on-the-job leadership training for successful careers in the public or private sector."</p>

<p>Students were selected based on a competitive application process and their ability to show strong leadership, written and oral communication skills, community activism, and a desire to serve the people of Florida. They will work in the Executive Office of the Governor or in the Governor's agencies, depending on their area of study.
