I have a friend who is a diehard FSU fan is trying very hard to get into the school. She retook the ACT and apparently she is off for the math score by 1 pt. She has a 20 and they ask for a 21. I want to know will FSU seriously deny her b/c of this? Don't they take other things in account? B/c she has like 30's in everything except math. Any advice???

Not trying to sound snarky, but if your friend doesn’t meet the minimum requirements what do you think? There’s a reason that they are MINIMUM requirements.

Will she get in? It’s still possible I guess, but she really shouldn’t be surprised if she’s denied.

I suggest considering TCC for the first two years if she does not enter Florida State as a freshman.

An admissions officer told me prior to the early-decision date of December 14th that if a student does not meet the minimum subscore requirements for the SAT and ACT, then they cannot be granted admission into the university.

Well, that depends.

Does your friend play football?
