Fulfilling Medical School Requirements in BU CGS

I had just recently been accepted into BU under the CGS Boston-London Program and already committed to the school. I plan to go into CAS as a Neuroscience major on a pre-med track after the two years at CGS.

I planned to go into medical school afterward but the issue is that all the medical schools that I have looked at usually require Biology with a lab and Chemistry with a lab, which are usually done freshmen and sophomore year.

Also, for my summer of freshmen year, I have to spend it in London and that I know that will put me at a disadvantage.

I’m wondering if there is any way for me to cram in electives/classes during my time in CGS in order to not fall behind. At the same time, I’m wondering how I can fit in research since I had heard it is best to have it done early.

Also, since I have a gap semester in the fall (due to how the program works and me starting in January), I’m wondering what I can do in terms of volunteering, internships, etc. that relates to the medical field so I can at least do something during that time.
