Full Ride to BU Business or Kelley Dean’s Council Scholarship

I recently received a scholarship from Boston Univerity that covers full tuition and was admitted into the business school. I also received a large scholarship from the Kelley School at IU. Any opinions would help because it’s a really hard decision.

Full tuition is not a full ride, by the way. You’re still paying for room & board and miscellaneous fees

If cost is an issue (and you seem like you’re in-state), simply go to whichever is cheaper. Both have good business schools, though Kelley is much better. It may just come down to your preferences (public v private, medium-sized vs very large, the campus culture).

It needs to cover housing at BU that’s 16k compared to Kelly at maybe 10k (comparing to Penn state and Michigan state) plus cost of just living and spending would be higher in Boston

My room and board and fees are covered as well. And I’m out of state for both.

What do you want to study ? Any specific area or just a general management course of study ? What do you want to do after graduation ?

I want to study marketing. I live on the east coast, so I want to get a job in NYC after graduation.

The true full ride at BU is the better option if you want to remain on the east coast. Easier to get to interviews for internships & job placement if not held on campus.

Looking at what you want Bu fits your future plans… and with a full expense covered scholarship Boston would be great

I have to agree with everyone else. BU seems like a great option (though a degree from Kelley will get you far as well)

I just feel like if I went to BU, I would miss out on the typical college experience.

You would because BU is an urban campus. IU-Kelley is also a great option.

What is the total cost difference?
