So I'm facing a little dilemma right now and would appreciate some outside opinions/advice other than from my friends and family :)

Cornell has been my dream school so I would absolutely love to go there. I think I would really enjoy being a Hotelie since I've looked through the courses and they all look pretty interesting. However, I will probably end up transferring to become an AEM major.

I didn't expect to get a full scholarship to the University of Maryland (home/state school), but it covers my tuition, books, housing, and meals for 4 years which is an incredible deal.

My issues: I am not sure if I want to go to grad school, and if I go to Cornell, I will need a lot of loans to go to grad school. I definitely want to study abroad, and going to UMD would give me a bigger budget to do so. I love Cornell's campus; UMD not so much. Cornell weather is a little icky; UMD's is fine. Being with most of my friends at UMD is both a pro and a con - would love to see them, but really do want to meet new people. Cornell is in the "middle of nowhere"; UMD is within a Metro ride to Washington, DC - lots of job opportunities. Finally, Cornell would give me great connections for internships whereas companies might be more hesitant to hire a state school grad.

Help! What do I do? Thank you so much!
